Lawyer and partner of BV Liberant advocaten. Since 1995 at the bar of lawyers in Antwerp. His preferred areas are criminal law, fashion and distribution, and family.
Apart from being a lawyer and solicitor, Tom De Meester is a passionate lecturer and trainer in the professional education of trainees-lawyers, as well as the special SUPRALAT training for assistance during police interrogations. He is a member of the Commission for criminal law of the Flemisch Bar Association. He was a research assistant at the University of Ghent from 1994 to 1998, opening orator 2010-2011 and member of the council of the Antwerp Bar from 2011 to 2015 and chairman of the legal aid office from 2013 to 2015.
He was born in 1971 in Antwerp, where he lives with his wife and children.
